Disney’s Flower & Garden Festival: Introduction

I know it has been a while but I still wanted to share the fun and beauty of the Disney Flower and Garden festival.

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is a really cool event that took place this year from March 2 – May 30. Sadly I did not get to spend as much time as I wanted at the event. In the two days that I was able to spend at Epcot during the event I tried to see as much as possible. However, there was still tons that I did not get to see. This is definitely on my to do list for the future. The only problem is that it takes place during a warmer season and a more expensive season. So I don’t know how soon I will be able to get back for it.

The event takes place at Epcot. It consists of four main parts.

  1. The Festival Center – The festival center is only open on the weekends and houses a garden show as well as a lecture series and more.
  2. The Gardens – Many little gardens are set up all over Epcot with different themes.
  3. The Topiaries – Throughout the park Disney has tons of topiaries set up that look like classic Disney characters.
  4. The Food – Throughout the World Showcase the different countries have special booths set up with new and interesting food and drink items for the event.

There are little event passports that list all of the topiaries, food booths, gardens and more information. Guests can check off items as seen and can get stamps at some locations.

This is only an Introduction. More info and pictures to come…
