Tuesday morning, we awoke late to find that I had caught the flu. After trying and failing to get up and dressed, I collapsed back onto the bed while N took A for a quick walk in Times Square. He grabbed lunch for A and himself at Milk and Honey and brought back soup for me.
I ate some of the soup and then we all took naps. That was the rest of the day. That night, we got takeout from Eden Wok delivered then we put A to sleep while hid in the bathroom and ate our soup. After 15 minutes, she was fast asleep.
Wednesday morning we headed to the nearest pharmacy and loaded up on cold and flu meds, a humidifier and more. We took a short stroll through Times Square stopping at the Disney Store and several theaters.
We had lunch again at Milk and Honey and then headed back to the hotel for a nap. We took it easy in the hotel for the rest of the day.
Then we again ordered soup from Eden Wok and put A to bed. This time, we headed to the lobby to eat while keeping the phone on to hear A as a monitor. Soon our babysitter arrived and we headed out to our first official planned activity in NYC. A Broadway show!
