It’s been a couple of years since KitchnSync closed. I was very sad about that as it was the only kosher meal prep service. I have been looking and hoping for a new kosher meal service ever since. Just two weeks ago N found one! It’s called JChef and apparently it’s been around for a little while, at least a year as far as I can tell.

So N and I are super excited to give it a try. We signed up for this week and I can’t wait to let you know how it is and how it compares to KitchnSync.

To begin with the sign up process I must say that it is a very different system from KitchnSync. I found it to be a bit confusing but the owner, Gabriel was happy to help. The site has a chat option where you can contact Gabriel while exploring the site. He is happy to help with any questions or issues.

I wasn’t going to contact him originally and attempted to order by myself. Gabriel saw that my order looked a bit confused (partly due to a credit card issue that I had) and he contacted me via email to verify. I responded and let him know that I had been a bit confused about the sign up and he was so fantastic. He responded quickly and was so nice and helpful. I felt a lot better about it after that.

Our box arrived earlier this week so we can’t wait to get cooking!
